Welcome to the Sustainable Spirituality Website

Sustainable Spirituality is a movement dedicated to cultivating the interior attitudes and external actions which will make our world a more livable and beautiful place in accordance with the vision of the Gospel.

Since we find in the words of Christ and the teaching of the Church an imperative to live righteously, pursue justice for all creation, and be witnesses to the dawning of the Kingdom of God

  • We are committed to connecting the living spirit, historical tradition, and abundant resources of the Church with the thinking of the environmental movement, and imagine that this cross-fertilization will be fruitful, both for the parties involved, and for the future of our planet.
  • We believe in translating good ideas into radical, life changing praxis. This is not just a necessity in the face of ecological crisis, but the call of the Gospel. We desire to change not only minds, but hearts; and not only lifestyles, but lives.
